Pricing FAQ
The pricing is per device per year, not per account. When you purchase a subscription, the specific device (LED matrix controller) becomes marked as paid, not your user account.
This means multiple phones can connect/work with the same paid device without needing separate subscriptions.
If you have multiple LED matrices or WLED controllers, you'll need to purchase a separate license for each device.
For example:
- 2 LED matrices = 2 subscriptions ($5.00/year total)
- 3 LED matrices = 3 subscriptions ($7.50/year total)
Each device operates independently and requires its own subscription to unlock premium features.
Yes! Once a device is marked as paid, multiple family members or users can connect to it from different phones without needing separate subscriptions.
This makes it perfect for families where everyone wants to control the LED matrix from their own device.
If you replace your WLED controller with a new one, it will have a different device identifier, so you would need a new subscription for the replacement device.
However, if you're experiencing issues with device recognition, please contact our support team at pippleeapp@gmail.com - we're happy to help resolve any problems.
Your subscription includes:

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the app store where you made the purchase:
- Google Play Store: Go to Play Store > Account > Subscriptions > Pipplee WLED 2D > Cancel
- Apple App Store: Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Pipplee WLED 2D > Cancel
Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
We're currently developing the Lifetime Access option to provide a one-time payment alternative to our yearly subscription.
This will eliminate the hassle of recurring payments and give you lifetime access to all features as long as the app is alive and maintained.
