Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the procedures and conditions for subscription cancellations and refund requests for Pipplee ("we", "us", or "our"). By subscribing to Pipplee, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
1. Subscription Information
Pipplee offers the following subscription options:
- Yearly Subscription: $2.50 per device per year
Important subscription details:
- Each subscription is linked to a specific LED matrix controller device
- Multiple users can connect to a subscribed device
- Subscriptions are auto-renewable unless cancelled
- Payment is processed through Apple App Store for iOS users or Google Play Store for Android users
- Subscription periods begin on the date of successful payment
2. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel your subscription:
2.1 For iOS Devices:
- Open your device's Settings
- Tap your name (Apple ID)
- Tap Subscriptions
- Find and tap the Pipplee subscription
- Tap "Cancel Subscription" at the bottom of the page
2.2 For Android Devices:
- Open the Google Play Store app
- Tap the profile icon in the top right corner
- Tap "Payments & subscriptions"
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Find and tap the Pipplee subscription
- Tap "Cancel subscription" and follow the instructions
Please note:
- Cancelling your subscription will not provide an immediate refund
- After cancellation, you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period
- Once a subscription period ends, your device will revert to the free functionality
- We do not directly process subscription cancellations; this must be done through your device's app store
3. Refund Policy
Our refund policy is subject to the guidelines of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, as they process all payments.
3.1 General Refund Information:
- Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of purchase for highest likelihood of approval
- Refunds are processed by Apple or Google, not directly by Pipplee
- The decision to issue a refund is at the sole discretion of the respective app store
- We cannot guarantee refund approval
3.2 How to Request a Refund:
For iOS Devices:
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find your Pipplee subscription purchase
- Select "Request a Refund"
- Choose the reason for your refund request
- Submit your request
For Android Devices:
- Open the Google Play Store app
- Tap the profile icon in the top right corner
- Tap "Payments & subscriptions"
- Tap "Order history"
- Find the Pipplee subscription purchase
- Tap "Request a refund" and follow the instructions
4. Special Circumstances
We understand that special circumstances may arise. In the following cases, please contact our support team for assistance:
- Technical issues preventing proper functionality of premium features
- Accidental purchase of duplicate subscriptions for the same device
- Issues with device recognition after purchasing a subscription
- Unusual payment processing errors
While we cannot directly process refunds, we will advocate on your behalf with the app stores in legitimate cases of service failure or technical issues. Please provide relevant details including:
- Your purchase receipt
- Device information
- Detailed description of the issue
- Steps you've already taken to resolve the issue
5. Free Trial Conversions
If you enrolled in a free trial that converted to a paid subscription:
- You will be charged automatically when the trial period ends
- To avoid charges, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends
- Trial periods cannot be reinstated for previously subscribed devices
6. Price Changes
If subscription pricing changes:
- Existing subscribers will be notified via email or app notification
- Existing subscriptions will remain at their current price until the next renewal period
- Upon renewal, the new price will apply unless you cancel your subscription
