Terms of Use

Welcome to Pipplee ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using this App, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

1. User-Generated Content

Pipplee allows users to upload, share, and display animation content. By uploading any content to Pipplee, you affirm that:

  • You are the rightful owner of the content, or
  • You have obtained explicit permission or a valid license to use, display, and distribute the content through Pippli.

You must not upload, share, or distribute content that:

  • Infringes upon copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights (e.g., characters, logos, sounds, or visuals from games, movies, TV shows, or brands),
  • Is obscene, violent, hateful, defamatory, or unlawful,
  • Contains content you do not have the legal right to share.

2. Content Moderation and Visibility

All content uploaded to Pipplee is subject to manual moderation. Uploaded content is not made publicly visible until reviewed and approved by our internal team.

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove or reject any content at our discretion,
  • Suspend or ban users who repeatedly violate these terms,
  • Update moderation guidelines without prior notice to ensure compliance with legal and platform policies (e.g., App Store Guidelines).

3. Intellectual Property Complaints

We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same.

If you believe that your copyright, trademark, or other IP rights have been infringed upon by content on Pipplee, please contact us immediately with the following information:

  • Your full name and contact information,
  • A detailed description of the content in question,
  • Proof of ownership or the legal authority to act on behalf of the rights holder,
  • A clear statement specifying the nature of the infringement.

We will investigate and, if the complaint is valid, promptly remove the infringing content.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Upload or share content you do not have the right to use,
  • Attempt to bypass our moderation system or mislead our team,
  • Use the App to harass, abuse, impersonate, or harm others,
  • Reverse-engineer or tamper with the App or its infrastructure,
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation while using the App.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account or access to Pipplee at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in harmful, illegal, or abusive behavior.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes your agreement to the updated terms.

8. Content Disclaimer

Pipplee is a platform for user-generated animation content. We do not claim ownership of or endorse any user-uploaded content. We rely on our moderation processes and the Pipplee community to ensure content complies with our Terms and legal standards. If notified, we will take prompt action to remove infringing or inappropriate material.

9. Subscription and Payment Terms

By subscribing to premium features of Pipplee, you agree to the following:

  • Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store, subject to their respective terms.
  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis according to the plan you select.
  • Cancellation of subscriptions must be done through your app store account settings.
  • No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods.
  • We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with notice to users.
  • A subscription is linked to a specific physical LED matrix controller device.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Pipplee, its creators, owners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
  • We are not responsible for any damage to your LED matrix, controller hardware, or other devices resulting from the use of our App.
  • Our total liability for any claims related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the six months prior to the claim.
  • We are not liable for any malfunction, power surge, electrical issues, or hardware damage that may occur during the use of the App with LED matrices or controllers.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.
  • We do not warrant that the App will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location.
  • We do not warrant that errors or defects will be corrected.
  • We do not guarantee compatibility with all LED matrix hardware, controllers, or WLED versions.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pipplee and its owners, operators, affiliates, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your violation of these Terms of Use
  • Your user-generated content
  • Your use of the App
  • Any claims by third parties that your use of the App or content infringes their intellectual property or other rights

13. External Links and Third-Party Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Pipplee.

We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services, including but not limited to WLED firmware and its operations on your LED controllers. We strongly advise you to read the terms and privacy policy of any third-party service that you visit or use in conjunction with our App.

14. Data Usage and Export

By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • We collect and process certain data as described in our Privacy Policy
  • We may use anonymized usage data to improve the App
  • Your content may be stored on our servers as necessary to provide services
  • We may delete inactive user data after extended periods of inactivity
  • You are responsible for backing up any important content you create or upload

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country and state where Pipplee is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
