macOS first launch

  1. Unzip the download and move Pipplee Desktop.app to Applications.
  2. Right-click the app → Open (unsigned beta — Gatekeeper may block a double-click).
  3. Allow Local Network so the app can find WLED on Wi‑Fi.
  4. Allow Screen Recording for system audio and the lighting director.

Windows first launch

  1. Run the portable exe or unzip and open Pipplee Desktop.exe.
  2. If SmartScreen appears: More info → Run anyway (unsigned beta).
  3. Connect your PC to the same Wi‑Fi as your WLED devices.
  4. Enable DDP on each WLED: Settings → Sync interfaces.
