Can I set a startup animation on WLED?

WLED supports a boot preset via its settings (Config → User interface → Boot preset). You can set any Pipplee-generated preset as the boot animation so it plays automatically when the controller powers on.

Two ways to get a startup effect

WLED boot preset (power-on)

When your ESP32 boots, WLED can automatically load a preset. Generate any animation, GIF, or pixel art in Pipplee, then set it as your WLED Boot preset:

In Pipplee, create or pick your startup animation and play it once (this saves the preset to WLED).
Open WLED web UI → Config → User interface.
Set Boot preset to the preset number Pipplee used.
Power-cycle your controller — the animation plays on boot.
